Tech Projects’ specialist welders often act as a full fabrication team for our clients – and our welders can take on everything from routine repair work to highly complex projects.

We have more than 20 years’ experience in providing high-quality fabrication services and our extensive skills in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel are often the main reason a company contacts us to undertake fabrication work.

But even when you may have skilled welders in your own workforce, there are a number of other benefits to outsourcing your fabrication projects.

Access to equipment and skills

At our 20,000 sq ft facility in Gateshead, North East England we provide comprehensive fabrication services and can work on projects of all shapes and sizes. But our team can also travel to you – and this can be especially useful if you experience a breakdown or safety issue and require a quick and efficient repair job.

Our experienced operators are able to create whatever component is required – or undertake any welding work – to get the job done and get you back up and running again.

Qualified in MIG (metal inert gas) and TIG (tungsten inert gas) process welding, our team is able to undertake all general fabrication work as well as being able to work with more specialist processes for stainless steel and aluminium.

We also have a design team of experienced engineers who use their hands-on experience to design 3D SolidWorks solutions that are specific to your requirements. With decades of experience to draw from, they can often ‘design around’ any challenges.

You can see examples of our stainless steel fabrication work on our case studies page.

Saving on time and resource

We all know that time is precious. If you were to suffer unplanned downtime due to broken equipment or equipment that isn’t performing as it should, you could suffer other penalties related to cost and reputation – for instance, if you’re unable to meet a deadline.

This is why we have a team of trained engineers on hand, who can rapidly provide support to rectify any issues quickly and efficiently.

We also recognise that your need for fabrication expertise may not always be due to machinery failure. For instance, what happens if a handrail or guard becomes loose or is damaged, and it is connected to a mezzanine floor or is a significant safety feature?

Again, our team is able to put in place a replacement or temporary structure so that you can continue with your day-to-day work.

A bespoke solution

Whilst we do provide standard conveyor systems, cages, racks and other material handling and access solutions, a great deal of our output is bespoke to our clients. We are therefore adept at creating new solutions and applying our expertise to solving our customers’ challenges.

Over the years we have been able to support our customers with long-life solutions that are purposefully created to solve a need or help them overcome a challenge.

So, whether you may have a ‘run of the mill’ project or an ‘off the wall’ request get in touch with our team – nothing much fazes them!
